"How do new modes of communication alter our behavior?"
INTIMATE ARCHITECTURES is a three-part series of experiments that attempts to address this question by exploring intimacy and the physical and informational structures that support or house it. CONNECTING is third in this series of site-specific, media-based work that includes, TABLE TALK, which occurred in a restaurant, and, ROAMING, which took place on a bicycle in the street. CONNECTING: Intimate Architectures links Los Angeles (Marianne Kim), New York (Jonathan Milder), Chicago (Jeff Harms) and Amsterdam (Joseph Ravens, Katherine Behar and Aneta Lesnikovska), exploring intimate interactions across distances, and questioning the revised geographies produced by "instant" communication. OUR PREMISE is that the advent of mobile technologies and other new forms of communication brings intimate activities out into the open, turning our sense of intimacy inside out. Intimate relationships once nurtured at home, are now occurring in social spaces where they are witnessed openly by onlookers and passers-by.

'Het Gesprek / Conversations' Raudio will contribute a continuous (no beginning – no end) audio web-stream, in three distinct 'versions' (a 'Raudio-triplet'). Each 'version' can be diffused independently, they can be diffused all together, or in groups of two, using the free audio players available on all current personal computers (iTunes, WinAmp, RealPlayer, Audion …), simply by pointing the player to the stream's url on the internet.

Het mixed verschillende reportages wat stof tot nadenken geeft en een sfeer creëert waardoor mensen willen dansen. Xavier van Society For The Blind uit Parijs mixed zijn zelfgemaakte reportages die allen een politiek en maatschappij-kritisch karakter hebben. Er ontstaat hierdoor een soort nieuwe grappige politiek.
