• With a 'SLLAN-Party' in the cinema: - BYOC! (Bring Your Own Computer). De Balie has free open wireless internet access (WiFi) . Extra powersockets will be available in the cinema room during this event for visitor laptops. You can join this event physically as well as virtually in this LAN-party and rez your avatar on the big white screen. Is your laptop to slow for the normal Second Life viewer? You can also try to install the SLEEK SL chat client, or connect to SL in your web browser with Ajax-Life for just text chatting. The visual graphics will be on the big screen anyway.

We are nearing the end of the dominance of the U.S.A. on the global economy. The value of the US Dollar is in a free fall. What does this mean for the daily lives of people on this planet? What will be the next world order? Discussion with politicians, economists, artists, philosophers, scientists and audience.

Live latin music.
Shamanes combines the best Latin dance rhythms that will have your avatar shaking and your body moving in rl. They already published their first CD "I back Crazy", and are currently working on their second one. Shamanes was formed in May 2002. In SL - Shamanes is represented by the avatar Horacios Allen (who's rl name is Horacios Allen Casadey) - he performs keyboards and sings with Lucio Mazaira with Sebastian Mestre on saxophone.

Live blues music.
Akrazul Boa is singer & musician, born 1963 in Germany, started to play classical guitar at the age of ten. After 6 years classical lessons he discovered Blues, Folk, Rock, Jazz, Funk and Reggae. Frontman of several bandprojects in bands like "Funky Chicken", "Ganymed", etc. In the early 90ties he started to record his solo songs. The knowledge about recording and soundengineering grew up with his music and ended up in a manager position for a hard & software company for professional studio equipment. Followed by some studio productions in Los Angeles and Düsseldorf (Germany) and all the time sessions with several musicians. Akrazl Boa's latest band project is to be heared at http://myspace.com/fourholegolfcourse. Here he was playing and recording all instruments and backing vocals. Lead singer was the Australian rock singer Darren J. B. But his greatest love is the blues in all colors and shades.

Lauren was born on Sandbox Island on October 1, 2006 into a relatively modest family. Unable to learn the craft of building or scripting Lauren instead made watercress sandwiches for those that could build and entertained them with her jokes. She has one child Lula. In a quirk of SecondLlife she lives in the sim Old Wives although she has never been married. When not working on comedy Lauren can be found landscaping at her home. Making a gourmet meal or just kicking back on her dock reading a good novel. She is also writing an autobiography called, "Beneath The Skin: Second Life Exposed" and " Laughter - The orgasm you don't have to worry about if your partner is finished."

Live art performance & interactive dance party with DJ's.
During this performance Eifachfilm Vacirca will accumulate 1000 partical cubes. A virtual tower of bable will be created. The cubes will rez (create) an object that selects 5 sentences out of 69, and announce them. These are visually inspired documents from all over the world. This object is to obtained for 500 L$. Every time when this object is placed inworld SL (rezzed), a new selection of 5 documents out of 69 will be visualized. Eifachfilm Vacirca: "Second Life is for me like the tower of Babel 2008, it connects people from all over the world, and everybody brings in their own soul and language. For me its like meditation, I create objects and delete them again, just because I had to make them."
